After spending several years working at game companies and large corporations, Don was laid off from his super comfy job at a major publishing organization. The experience he had there was amazing. Not like fake amazing, but actually amazing. Great mentors, exceptional managers, and autonomy. Oh, the autonomy!

The idea of going to work for another company and starting over on a different ladder made Don anxious. And there were no jobs in his immediate area. So, instead, he started writing code. Don really enjoyed this, and wanted to do it all the time. His partner, FZ, was already running successful businesses of their own. So one day, Don said to FZ, "Hey, do you want to start a company with me?"

FZ said, "Sure, why not? What does the company do?" To which Don responded, "The same thing I was doing before I got laid off, except I can do it for anyone." FZ was convinced immediately. The next day (or so...) BeeBoo got its first client. And they lived happily ever after.

Oh, and then we convinced Mike and Sean to join us and Mike is building a robot... no big deal.
